I make my own sauce and for quickie meals sometimes grab a jar at the store, I do not use any sweetener in my sauce and most of the others do. I check the labels and even the ones with out sweetener have an off taste. After trying yours a few weeks ago (I bought it at the Giant)I will never be without two jars of it in my cupboard for anytime of the week or for guests, it is that good. “I picked up your sauce at Shop Rite in Milford, CT. The main reason that I chose it was because I have to watch the sodium content of prepared foods as my husband has to be very careful of his intake. When I have done this in the past with other sauces, they were only fair. But now your sauce is #1 on our list. Not only is it reasonably low in sodium compared to most others (260 vs 600), but it was great tasting. So glad you are making this, please keep it coming.”

I purchased it recently for a Christmas party buffet, where I prepared it in crock pots with fresh made meatballs, and chopped garlic. "As an Italian American whose grand parents were born in Italy, I have to say that we would never, ever eat a jarred tomato sauce. Most jarred sauces are to thick, over spiced, sugary, and raw tasting. I even through a jar out of the window once when my wife brought some home. When I saw Paul Sorvino's face on a jar in the supermarket I gave it a shot. I have to say that the freshness and flavor of this Marinara sauce blew me away!!! Also, I am not usually one to purchase celebrity-endorsed food products but I had a manufacturer’s coupon for Paul Sorvino’s sauce, and I purchased the Neapolitan Marinara. I was drawn to it because it used San Marzano tomatoes. I usually purchase Progresso products for my cooking.
I must say that I made a dish with this sauce and it was incredible!!!!! The sauce is so light and fresh and NATURAL. My family went crazy for it! I brought the leftovers (I could not believe there was even ANY!!!!) to work to share with my co-worker, who is also my fellow “foodie” and loves to eat and cook Italian meals, could he not believe I bought the sauce from a jar at the supermarket.
I am so pleased with the sauce, a jar is going in my co-worker’s and MY DAD’s stocking so they can begin to use it when he is in a “pinch” for fresh marinara.
While it costs a little more than other sauces on the shelves, it is worth every penny, and I will continue to purchase it and recommend it to my friends who love food and cooking as much as I do.
Ps. Once I get my hands on some lobster ravioli, you can BET I am going to try the Pink Vodka Sauce . . . . . you have saved me so much time!!!!!!

My recipe is from my Sicilian mother in law who is an amazing cook but it is nowhere near as good as this was. We bought a jar of the Marinara Sauce and it was delicious enough to drink! "We love the Marinara. My Mother-in-Law recently suffered a heart attack that she, thankfully, has weathered quite well. So, of course, as a family we have started to look at our food and dietary information when buying anything prepared. In fact we normally choose to make most food from scratch with fresh ingredients but my hours at work have been changed and I don't get to cook fresh meals everyday.
That being said, salt is a major factor. In the supermarket, your marinara sauce was the lowest in sodium. We bout it, paired it with nice pasta and hoped for the best.
We were very pleasantly surprised. This marinara was delicate and flavorful. You can taste all of the ingredients. The sodium was never missed.

p.s. The next day, we were walking near Grand Central Station and saw Paul Sorvino on the street (if it wasn't him then it could have been.) I really wanted to say how much we enjoyed the marinara, but being New Yorker's we don't like to accost our celebrities."
