Katherine W:

“I just wanted to let you know I have tried your marinara sauce and it is fantastic.. I make my own sauce and for quickie meals sometimes grab a jar at the store, I do not use any sweetener in my sauce and most of the others do. I check the labels and even the ones with out sweetener have an off taste. After trying yours a few weeks ago (I bought it at the Giant)I will never be without two jars of it in my cupboard for anytime of the week or for guests, it is that good. Thank you and I can’t wait to try other products of yours.

Sincerely”

Jim Buscemi - Maynard, MA:

“Hi, I am 53 years old. My dad was born in Aragona, Sicily, my mother's family is from Messina, Sicily. I have been eating Italian food all of my life and I must say that your Marinara Sauce is the BEST I've ever had. I wasn't expecting this sauce to be anything special when my wife mentioned that she picked some up at the market, but boy, was I wrong! Now I'm spoiled for any other sauce.

Thanks Paul!”

Robert Hroch - Holbrook, NY:

“I love the marinara....I laughed when I saw the garlic was in slices ... lol great job“

Janice T:

“Wow--what a product---I sampled the Paul Sorvino sauces and we just enjoyed it so much...
I have never used bottle sauces--I always made my own...coming from an Italian family..we are very critical about store sauces......since I have tried Paul Sorvino sauces...it has completely changed my attitude towards store bought sauces. Paul Sorvino stands head and shoulders above any other....(we are partial to the vodka sauce).
I am sure this product will be successful....”

Myra Garvansites - Belford, NJ:

“Hi, My name is Myra & have been eating Italian sauces & food all my life. So when I saw your product in A&P this past weekend, I figured I'll try it. Even though I am not Italian, I do have Italian in-laws that can make sauces comparable to restaurant quality. (The ones in Little Italy, NYC of course). So when I got home, I could not wait to open & try a couple of spoonfuls. Well Mr. Sorvino you have a winner. Ingredients are not overpowering and everything simply blends. I hope you don't get insulted, but I put a spoonful on my pets food to make him eat, and he wanted more (he's 14 yrs old & a very fussy, spoiled eater). I will try your vodka sauce next.
Yours truly”

Mary Anne D:

“I picked up your sauce at Shop Rite in Milford, CT. The main reason that I chose it was because I have to watch the sodium content of prepared foods as my husband has to be very careful of his intake. When I have done this in the past with other sauces, they were only fair. But now your sauce is #1 on our list. Not only is it reasonably low in sodium compared to most others (260 vs 600), but it was great tasting. So glad you are making this, please keep it coming.”

Alexis Magazino - Harrisburg, PA:

“I had no idea Mr. Sorvino made sauce, so when I crossed it in my local Giant Foods Grocery Store, I decided to try it. (And the decision, though not based in logic, was merely based on the fact that I love Paul Sorvino as an actor - I think of him as the Italian Daddy of the acting world, which endears him, or his image, to me.) Though I certainly prefer my family's marinara recipe, sometimes you just don't have the time or the energy to go to that effort. I have tried a lot of jarred sauces, and even when you find one you like, you never really like it. It's like choosing the least of the evils. And trust me, I have tried every sauce out there. That's why I'm writing this email. This is absolutely the best jarred sauce I have ever had. It's fresh and simple, exactly what a marinara sauce should be. It tastes just like the sauce my family makes - an almost exact copy - only it's available on short notice. Thanks for making a product that actually lives up to its name.”

“Hello-- I just wanted to drop your company a line, and let you know what I thought about the new Paul Sorvino Marinara Sauce. I purchased it recently for a Christmas party buffet, where I prepared it in crock pots with fresh made meatballs, and chopped garlic. It went over great, and at least a dozen people said it was the best sauce they have ever had-- including a friends mother, who came here from Sicily in the 1970's. I was beyond impressed, and will only buy Paul's sauce from here on in. Great job, great package, and extraordinary flavor. Thanks for a great sauce that I can truly enjoy and be proud to serve my family and friends-- it saves me the time of making it myself. Best wishes, and Merry Christmas.
PS-- the website lists Price Chopper supermarkets as a distributor of the sauce, but I couldn’t find it in either the Webster, MA or Worcester MA store. I was able to find it at Shaw's in Webster MA - on the top shelf where it belongs!!”

Sarah Fitzwater - South Riding, VA:

“Love love love the marinara sauce. I’m making meatballs and your marinara sauce tonight for dinner (and company will be here to enjoy it too). My husband always gives me a hard time about the $6 price per bottle but I reply that it’s worth it because it tastes authentic and there are no artificial ingredients.
Keep it coming and how about getting it into Whole Foods? Do you have any recipes? Would be a good additional to your website.
Sincerely,”

David Nickerson - Hull, MA:

"Paul,
Had to write and say this is the best Marinara in a jar I've ever had. I also enjoy your acting."

Giovanni and Rose Forte - Congers, NY:

“We must say that your product Paul Sorvino Marinara Sauce is the best. Tastes just like homemade and we love it. This is the best jarred sauce that we ever had and we will keep on purchasing it. Just thought you would like to know. My husband is of Neapolitan heritage and the sauce is very authentic. Thank you.”

John U.:

"As an Italian American whose grand parents were born in Italy, I have to say that we would never, ever eat a jarred tomato sauce. Most jarred sauces are to thick, over spiced, sugary, and raw tasting. I even through a jar out of the window once when my wife brought some home. When I saw Paul Sorvino's face on a jar in the supermarket I gave it a shot. I have to say that the freshness and flavor of this Marinara sauce blew me away!!! I think its better than my sauce, and I make a pretty good one. Thanks Paul for finally coming up with a traditional quality product. I don't usually write letters but I felt compelled to write this one. By the way I'm a huge fan."

Keri M.:

"I recently purchased your Marinara sauce, I was a little nervous, only because I usually don’t have much luck in the canned/jarred tomato sauce department and currently I am on food stamps, to supplement my income, so again, you see my nervousness.
Well, all I have to say, is I am addicted!! I have NEVER had a store bought sauce that tasted so homemade! I love it and it is worth every last drop in the jar. I love the slices of garlic… YUMMMMMMMM."

James Hartman, - Hackensack, NJ:

"I never buy sauce in a can or a jar. I always make my own. but I saw an article a week ago in the NY daily news about your sauce and for some reason I was compelled to try it when I saw it in the grocery store. To my utter amazement the sauce was great. It was absolutely delicious. I have bought it twice more since the first purchase. I have told so many people about the sauce and have encouraged them to but it that you should probably send me a free jar.

Don't change anything in the recipe. its perfect."
