Sorvino Starts National Advertising Campaign
Monday, October 5th, 2009 - Actor Paul Sorvino, President of
Paul Sorvino foods, said today that he is ecstatic over the response of supermarket
chains who have committed to his two varieties of pasta sauce (Marinara & Vodka).
Since the launch almost a year ago, the distribution model has totally changed. Senior
Vice President Ronnie Robinson says, “It took eight months for Carl
Jablonski (former President of Acme and Shaw’s) to travel the U.S. setting up
distribution to the country’s six largest specialty grocery distributors. Then everything
changed. The response from every banner approached was: “You are a proposed national item with
a major marketing and advertising program. We want to buy direct from you, not from a specialty
distributor.”
Middleberg Communications of New York, the PSF public relations company is now
scheduling Paul Sorvino’s appearances on regional television shows in New York, Boston
and Philadelphia to introduce his pasta sauces to consumers in the Northeast region.
